Atomic Machines is seeking a Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead the development and scaling of the Matter Compiler, our modular manufacturing platform. The role involves defining scope and interfaces, assigning ownership, setting success metrics, maintaining integrated plans, and driving execution across cross-functional teams including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software, AI, Operations, and Leadership. You will manage programs for integrated machine systems spanning precision motion, optics/metrology, vacuum process modules, embedded software, and factory workcell infrastructure. The PMO is a leverage function, so you will strengthen our execution system by tightening feedback loops, clarifying what constitutes done, and surfacing high-integrity signals on progress, risks, and decisions. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end program execution for assigned Nodes, Modules, or Platform initiatives; defining scope, milestones, owners, and delivery outcomes (time, cost, budget, change control); building and maintaining integrated execution plans; driving structured change control; establishing forecasts and measuring execution; designing deployment processes for our Hybrid Fab environment; maintaining dashboards and real-time program health reporting; and building scalable processes to eliminate recurring challenges.
