Senior Quality Engineer reports to the site Quality Manager and is responsible for internal and supplier quality in the assigned area (cells, value streams). The role focuses on product quality and supports new product development through ownership of quality tasks and project management up to series release. The position performs internal process and product audits, drives corrective actions, and manages supplier quality. This on-site role is based in Elizabethtown, NC. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities include leading quality assurance initiatives, defining QA strategies, and establishing test methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables; mentoring and guiding Quality Engineers to foster a culture of quality; developing and reporting quality KPIs (internal and external); collaborating with product management, production, development, and operations to align quality objectives; planning and executing internal process and product audits and implementing corrective actions; managing external audits as needed; participating in project teams to represent quality management interests; developing and maintaining quality plans for existing and new products; contributing to qualification test matrices for product launches; leading or participating in pilot runs and tracking action items; supporting product releases and serial releases (including PAPP if requested by customers); addressing quality problems through corrective actions (customer call-backs, supplier reclamations, production issues); performing in-process QC tests and coordinating with operations leadersh
