GNC is seeking a Distribution Team Lead to support the day-to-day warehouse operations of a defined area within the warehouse. This is a full-time, hourly position on the 2nd shift in Whitestown, Indiana. The Distribution Team Lead will assist the Department Supervisor in maximizing productivity and employee morale, ensuring service levels are met, and monitoring staffing levels to complete distribution tasks efficiently. As a working lead, you will participate in and guide tasks within your assigned operational area.

Key responsibilities: - Manage work assignments and adjust staffing to optimize operational flow and labor hours - Monitor workers' productivity and performance, ensure standards are met, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback - Run productivity reports, ensure accurate and damage-free handling of materials, and organize products for maximum efficiency - Report status updates to the supervisor and monitor activities within the area - Troubleshoot system and process issues and support corrective actions - Maintain a safe work environment and ensure equipment is functional; report shortages or damages to management for quick resolution - Inspect equipment and communicate findings to management to minimize operational disruptions
