KETV, the ABC affiliate in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking an Account Executive. The Account Executive sells advertising across local platforms and negotiates impressions and rates with ad agencies. Responsibilities - Generate revenue across all available platforms - Prospect, contact, and present to new businesses - Develop new revenue through local business development - Form strategic and market partnerships - Manage an active account/client list - Create, tailor, and deliver sales proposals aligned with station strategies - Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to KETV’s dynamic sales team
Requirements - 1+ years in media or digital sales, or a similar field - Experience developing new business or non-traditional business - Strong negotiation skills - Experience in a consultative, customer-focused environment - Accountability within a goal-driven organization - Must be a team player - Experience selling to business owners - Ability to use qualitative research to inform sales efforts - Related military experience will be considered - In-person attendance is required
