Overview: The Senior Frontend Engineer is a technical leader who owns large-scale UI features, complex interactions, and performance optimization strategies. This role drives best-in-class user experiences through architectural leadership, mentorship, and close collaboration with design and backend teams. The Senior Frontend Engineer helps define frontend standards, drives best practices, and elevates the engineering culture.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend features and user experiences.
Define standards for frontend architecture, component reusability, performance, and accessibility.
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate strategic initiatives into technical implementation.
Drive frontend performance improvements, including code splitting, caching, and rendering optimization.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing sessions.
Contribute to the evolution of the design system and reusable component libraries.
Partner with backend and platform teams to define efficient integration patterns and API contracts.
Lead initiatives around frontend testing, monitoring, and automation.
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and frameworks, evaluating their fit for the organization.
Champion accessibility and inclusive design across the engineering team.
