Speechify is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs (including a public TTS API and internal APIs for Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking) and oversee the full backend API landscape to ensure performance and maintainability. You will collaborate on B2B solutions and align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node, direct hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS or Azure, and is comfortable with Docker and containerized deployments as well as deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes. This is a fully remote role based in Bordeaux, France, within Speechify’s 100% distributed organization (no office).
