We are seeking a Platform Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services that power our platform, including the public TTS API, payments, subscriptions, authentication, and analytics. What you’ll do: - Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs (public TTS API, Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking) that meet business and scalability requirements - Oversee the backend API landscape, optimize performance and maintainability - Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration for enterprise clients - Work closely with product and frontend teams to align architecture with product strategy and user experience - Ensure high-availability and scalable deployments
What we’re looking for: - Proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js (required) - Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform; familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other clouds - Ability to ideate and implement prioritized tasks efficiently - Bonus: Docker/containerized deployments; Kubernetes for high-availability apps
