This role will help build and maintain the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms. It sits at the intersection of product and infrastructure, focusing on designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that enhance the user experience. Location: Riga, Latvia, with a remote-friendly work arrangement. You'll collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, streamline scope to accelerate customer feedback, navigate integration and UX tradeoffs for different product teams, and deliver solutions via cross-platform SDKs. You will optimize existing functionality for faster loading and smarter parsing by designing efficient abstractions and improving algorithms. You will ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
