Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help build production-grade AI features for its Grafana AI/ML initiatives focused on observability. This is a remote opportunity open to applicants in USA time zones. You will own the development of AI-powered capabilities to detect, triage, and resolve incidents using observability data, prototype and deploy agent-driven workflows, and collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and designers to ship scalable solutions. The role requires strong software engineering experience (backend and/or full-stack), hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, and familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and observability tooling. Bonus points for experience with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, model fine-tuning, and building observability tooling. Compensation in the United States ranges from USD 127,651 to 203,867, plus equity/RSUs and benefits.
