About the role
Gray Media’s KWTX-TV News 10 is seeking a Multimedia Sales Manager to lead a team of Multimedia Executives and oversee the development, sale, and execution of client advertising campaigns. The role also includes supporting the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Collaborate with sales leadership to achieve station and team goals
- Drive digital revenue growth and meet revenue targets with a focus on new local direct business
- Train and coach the local team on an ongoing basis
- Assist Multimedia Executives in planning, presenting, and closing business
- Work with the sales leadership team to develop sales collateral
- Ensure successful campaign execution, tracking, delivery, optimization, and reporting
- Maintain professional relationships with clients
- Serve as a consultative advertising solutions expert with Multimedia Executives and clients
- Work in operational systems including Wide Orbit, Matrix, Microsoft Office, and others
- Support accounts receivable, cash-in-advance, and credit processes
- Assist in pricing and packaging development to fulfill client and station needs
- Assist with inventory management
- Accurately forecast sales revenue
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven leader able to work independently, anticipate needs, and implement action items
- Positive, results-oriented attitude and passion for the media landscape and helping local media executives and clients succeed
- College degree preferred
- Prior media sales experience required; prior leadership experience is a plus
