Financial Accountant – Accounting & Reporting – 100% remote (Germany)
We are a technology-driven digital-performance agency with over 25 years of marketing experience, augmented by AI, data and our own technology. In the Finance team, you will independently manage central daily accounting tasks while supporting Controlling with closings, reporting and business analytics. Our focus is not on titles but your hands-on experience, operational reliability, and continuous improvement of Finance processes.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Independently perform ongoing financial accounting, including posting, account reconciliation, and accurate data preparation.
- Reconcile general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, banks, and intercompany balances.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings, including accruals, provisions, and account confirmations.
- Prepare or assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings.
- Support debtors, project billing, payments, and receivables management.
- Prepare reliable financial data for reporting, forecasts, and management analyses.
- Assist Controlling with analyses and operational questions.
- Collaborate with tax advisors, banks, authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Further develop and automate our digital accounting and finance processes.
- Completed commercial or tax-related training or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of practical experience in financial accounting.
- Proficiency in posting, ongoing accounting and account reconciliation.
