Accelerating Appalachia (ACAP) is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee its fiscal health, including bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, grant compliance, budgeting, and reporting for the nonprofit accelerator and the Farmer Funding Program (including BAAR). The Finance Manager will ensure GAAP-compliant financial records, manage cash flow, oversee accounts payable/receivable, and coordinate with the CEO, COO, and program teams for audits, board reporting, and annual budgets. Responsibilities include managing federal and state grants (e.g., USDA and Appalachian Regional Commission funding), ensuring compliance with OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), maintaining internal controls, and preparing financial statements, activity reports, and forecasts. The role supports external audits, strategic planning, and collaboration with fundraising and program staff on long-term financial planning. While not required, experience in social enterprise, blended capital/impact investing, or program-related investments is valued.
