The Senior Financial Analyst provides timely, accurate, and insightful expense performance analyses to management and supports financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role gathers, analyzes, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, future requirements, and operating forecasts, and develops, interprets, and implements financial planning and control concepts while performing technical analyses to determine present and future financial performance. Primary responsibilities include monitoring expense performance and communicating findings to business partners; reviewing and approving expense requisitions; developing departmental financial and project expense benchmarks and reporting; creating ad-hoc analyses and business forecasts; supporting the accounting close process and audit reporting; designing scalable processes and procedures to report key business metrics; identifying cost reduction and process improvement opportunities; and working with functional groups to meet financial goals. The role involves handling PHI on paper and electronic form and requires completing HIPAA/PHI privacy training within the first 30 days of hire, as well as staying current with Natera training requirements.
