This is a hands-on founding engineer role that will grow into long-term technical ownership and mentorship as the platform matures. Key responsibilities include designing and building scalable, resilient distributed systems; delivering high-quality, production-grade code; leading code and design reviews; owning end-to-end system deployment, monitoring, and on-call support; and collaborating with cross-time-zone teams and stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction, and raise engineering standards. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field, 8+ years of experience building cloud-native backend or platform systems, a track record of delivering greenfield products, hands-on experience with distributed systems on modern cloud infrastructures and deployment pipelines, and experience with AI/ML or LLM components in production.
