Account Manager, US Petcare Division, is a field-based, remote-friendly role based in San Fernando, California, United States, that may require travel and some evenings for educational programs. The role focuses on solution selling, territory management, and strategic business planning to maximize sales in the assigned geography.

Responsibilities

Education and experience:

Meet sales objectives for the territory and key growth products through demand generation.
Launch new products and services and generate new equipment leads.
Demonstrate solution selling capabilities, maintain veterinary practice knowledge, and deliver customer value.
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals and veterinary personnel to maintain access within accounts.
Follow all promotional guidelines.
Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan and allocate resources to maximize ROI.
Meet field activity expectations, including sales call activity and participation in medical education programs.
Develop a call cycle at the account and veterinarian level to meet reach and frequency targets.
Collaborate with Zoetis Petcare colleagues to uphold integrity, compliance, work ethic, conduct, communication, and teamwork.
Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
3–10 years of successful consultative sales experience.
Animal health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn Zoetis systems.
Willingness to travel and work evenings as needed; self-starter
