SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Project Manager to directly support the modernization of space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching program aims to perform system modernization and digital transformation to accelerate the space launch cadence and enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located in Santa Maria, California. Responsibilities: In support of the government program office, the Project Manager is responsible for scope, cost, schedule, performance, and technical requirements, and for the overall execution of Technical Direction Letters (TDLs). Serve as the program’s face to the customer, responding to direction, negotiating project issues, managing the team, overseeing integration, and ensuring successful completion of all project activities. Lead a multi-functional team of mission, hardware and software engineering, sustainment, training, logistics, security (including cyber) and support specialists to maintain system operational availability.
