BEUMER Group is seeking a hands-on Technical Support Engineer with strong electrical and control systems expertise to support customers across North America, Mexico, and Central America. The engineer will coordinate and deliver hotline support for both new and legacy customers, working with our European hotline teams to ensure seamless global service. The role requires collaboration across mechanical and electrical engineering, software development, project management, and customer support, and may involve on-site visits with frequent travel, primarily within North America and occasional international travel. Responsibilities include learning and troubleshooting electrical and control aspects of installed systems, diagnosing electro-mechanical components and PLC/PC communications, interpreting maintenance manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams and other documentation, instructing and directing technicians in servicing and repairing equipment, coordinating problem resolution with engineering, customer support, and other teams, and supporting training efforts. Qualifications include a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related technical field, strong time management and communication skills, PC and networking proficiency, PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley; SCO Unix/Linux familiarity), ability to read schematics and documentation, and willingness to travel.
