We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. This is a 100% remote, U.S.-based role based in Sunnyvale, California. The position is full-time Direct W-2 with a salary range of $100,000–$150,000 annually. Experience required: 6+ years in QA automation; strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright; REST API automation; and CI/CD integration. Responsibilities include expanding test coverage, embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring automated testing aligns with risk-based testing and continuous testing in Agile environments. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline; at least four years of QA automation experience; strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills; excellent communication and documentation abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6), Docker/Kubernetes in test environments, cloud-based testing (BrowserStack or Sauce Labs), behavior-driven development frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow), and familiarity with security testing fundamentals (OWASP).
