TekSynap seeks a Middleware Team Lead with a Secret clearance to join our ITES task order and lead the deployment, administration, and maintenance of middleware software across Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments. The candidate will install, configure, and manage application and web servers such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, and WebSphere; develop and enforce security standards to comply with ALTESS and Army requirements; and create proactive monitoring dashboards to ensure consistent service delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating deployments and infrastructure upgrades, performing Security Readiness Reviews and documenting findings in Plans of Action and Milestones, collaborating with development teams on debugging and middleware integration, and staying current with middleware technologies to improve performance, security, and scalability. Qualifications include three years of experience with application server architecture in large enterprises; hands-on experience with middleware platforms (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, or similar); proficiency with SOAP and RESTful services; familiarity with XML standards (DTD, XSLT) and related tools; ability to assist developers in debugging using Java or C#; UNIX and Windows system administration; familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server; scripting experience with Python and PowerShell; and working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IAVM.
