About the role

Septeo Notaires, part of the Septeo group, is a leading European software publisher. Integrated into a R&D organization of over 100 collaborators and reporting to the Head of Technology, you will initially act as a full Engineering Manager, guiding a team of about eight developers. Your role is central to transitioning our technology stack toward a scalable, evolutive architecture. As Engineering Manager, you are the human, technical, and methodological guarantor of your team, and you serve as a liaison between the team, product, leadership, and other managers.

Your role is central to transitioning our technology stack toward a scalable, evolutive architecture. As Engineering Manager, you are the human, technical, and methodological guarantor of your team, and you serve as a liaison between the team, product, leadership, and other managers.

Key responsibilities: - Adoption and diffusion of AI practices; explore AI usage in the team's work and guide the evolution of practices to deliver real benefits. - People: conduct regular one-on-ones, provide feedback, support progression; develop team skills; maintain a healthy, motivating work environment. - Tech: challenge technical choices; ensure adherence to best practices; maintain quality (Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, code reviews, tests, reduce technical debt); help the team mature in CI/CD, architecture, and tooling. - Delivery: set cadence and visibility on deliverables; ensure release reliability (ready, tested, validated); identify and remove blockers (organizational or technical). - Communication: provide clear, useful reporting without overload; share the vision and decisions with the team; participate in cross-functional exchanges with other EMs and senior management.

Technical stack: - Frontend: Angular 17, RxJS, NgRx, TypeScript, PrimeNG, Nx; Jest; WPF - Backend: C#, .NET Core / Frame
