About the role

VMRay is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the DACH region and Eastern Europe to drive revenue growth and engage senior cybersecurity stakeholders. This position is based in Bochum, Germany with remote options (Remote OK) and requires travel approximately 30–40% of the time.

Responsibilities

Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets; build relationships with CISO and Senior SOC leaders across industries.

Prospect, present, and demonstrate the product; manage opportunities from initial contact to closing in Salesforce; maintain accurate sales metrics.

Identify key stakeholders within prospect organizations and develop account coverage plans.

Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations; attend industry events and conferences as needed.

Leverage deep market and competitive insights to highlight VMRay’s value proposition and differentiators.

Demonstrate a proven ability to close deals.

Requirements

5+ years of direct SaaS software sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity.
Track record of managing opportunities from prospect to closure.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; fluent in English and German.
Ability to quickly learn new processes; strong multi-project management with attention to detail.
Understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and threat detection.
Experience with Salesforce.com, Sales Navigator, Outreach, and ZoomInfo.
Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time; able to work remotely within the DACH region.
