Role: We are seeking an interim Test Engineer to cover maternity leave for an initial period from November 17 to March 15, with a possible extension up to 16 weeks. You will join our engineering team and take ownership of test strategy and execution for the development team, working closely with the Tech Lead, Cloud Engineer, and Product Owner to ensure reliable releases as we scale. From day one you will engage with existing test suites and processes, keep them running, and improve them where needed without a long onboarding period. What you will do: Own test planning and execution for ongoing sprints and releases; Design, write, and maintain automated and manual test cases across the platform; Work with developers to identify issues early and improve overall release quality; Identify gaps in test coverage and propose practical improvements to the testing process; Support release readiness checks in collaboration with the Product Owner and Tech Lead; Report bugs clearly and track them through to resolution. Core automation stack: Java/TypeScript, Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, Postman, TestNG/JUnit, Git/GitHub, Maven, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, SQL, Eclipse/VS Code/IntelliJ.
