This role will support month-end close activities, reconcile general ledger accounts, maintain subledgers, and assist with special projects. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, enjoys analyzing financial data, and seeks opportunities to improve processes. Responsibilities include subledger maintenance and reporting; analyzing financial statements and investigating fluctuations or inconsistencies, providing explanations and insights; preparing and reconciling general ledger accounts as part of the month-end close; recommending and supporting process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy; fixed asset management; generating monthly reports for management review; assisting the Controller with month-end close reporting and third-party audits; and other duties as assigned.
