Overview The Staff Accountant is responsible for timely processing and payment of invoices, preparing related account reconciliations, recording journal entries, and performing other reporting and analysis duties.

Responsibilities - Record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered in the accounting system. - Process payments in the accounts payable system, issue checks weekly or as needed. - Process other payments online (direct payments and/or via credit card). - Record activity for company travel and entertainment (T&E) and P Card. - Reconcile balance sheet accounts for Accounts Payable, Misc AP, Due to/from accounts as assigned. - Perform other month-end duties such as journal entries and reporting. - Provide sales tax data monthly to external audit firm for filing, and maintain monthly accruals and reconciliations. - Gather and compile cost information and perform cost analysis on accounts or vendors as identified. - Perform general recordkeeping work, including entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased or services rendered. - Other accounting or reportin
