In this role, you will design, build, and scale tools and services that support the full lifecycle of domain management, including searching, registering new domains, and transferring or renewing existing ones. You will work with a team of engineers to ensure the scalability and reliability of high‑volume systems powering Cloudflare Registrar and its customers. Responsibilities include designing and building tools, analyzing complex technical requirements, improving system architecture for stability and performance, and monitoring production services (on‑call rotations). Qualifications include 4+ years of software engineering experience, strong communication skills, and experience deploying large‑scale systems in Java, Go, Ruby/Rails, or other high‑performance languages. You should have strong debugging and systems programming abilities, and experience with CI workflows and Git. Bonus points for experience with Cloudflare Developer Platform, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, OpenAPI, AI coding tools, DNS/DNSSEC, Postgres, and registrar‑industry knowledge.
