Join Picnic's Java-focused Warehouse Systems team to design, develop, and test features powering our warehouse automation platform. You will own projects from concept to delivery, tackle problems with a product mindset, and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth workflows—from inbound item handling to conveyor movements and delivery to drivers. Our tech stack includes Java 21/25 (Spring 6 with Spring Boot 3.5, Reactor, Immutables, Maven), RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, AWS, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes, Vault, Datadog, and Python 3.x. Requirements: a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience; 2-5 years of professional Java backend experience; strong English proficiency; experience with AI tooling and agentic engineering. Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Work arrangement: hybrid (office presence in Amsterdam with some remote flexibility).
