Software Engineer – Counter Measures Systems to develop software for health countermeasure devices and related equipment used on NASA space missions, including heart-rate monitor interfaces and GUI components. The position supports NASA in maintaining astronaut health in reduced gravity environments aboard the ISS and Gateway spacecraft. Responsibilities include developing software applications and adapting software/firmware for robotic devices, reviewing design artifacts, performing system integration and testing, and coordinating verification tasks. Projects may include sensorimotor training tools for microgravity, software and firmware development, and modeling/simulation of humans in conjunction with health countermeasure systems. Must be willing to work onsite at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, United States.
