About the role
Automox is seeking a Software Engineer to join the core Agent Team to advance the Automox Agent—the lightweight, cross-platform client that runs on customer endpoints. This is a remote-only role based in the United States. You will design, develop, and optimize the cross-platform Agent (Windows, macOS, Linux) to minimize resource usage while maximizing reliability, and you will build robust, secure pipelines that allow the local agent to receive commands and send telemetry back to our cloud services. You will tackle system-level endpoint challenges, from native OS process management to secure, isolated execution environments, and collaborate with cloud infrastructure and platform teams to deliver true end-to-end features.
