Ad Astra is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based platform and production systems. The role bridges software development and operations, applying software engineering practices to automate, optimize, and enhance the reliability of our infrastructure. You will identify recurring failure patterns, implement automated solutions, monitor security and reliability threats, and participate in on-call rotations. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining highly available systems across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), owning tenant isolation and blast radius considerations for our multi-tenant SaaS platform, expanding logging, monitoring, and alerting, and collaborating with engineering, product, and operations teams to improve capacity planning and cloud cost efficiency. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Overland Park, Kansas. Relocation assistance is not provided.
