About the role

Cupid Media, a partner company, is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for Mobile to own quality assurance across mobile product development and ensure reliable releases. This remote-only role involves hands-on testing, automation, and close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product stability, user experience, and release confidence across iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities

Define test strategies, create test plans and checklists, and validate features from technical hand-off through production deployment.
Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing on real devices and emulators.
Develop, maintain, and expand mobile test automation frameworks for UI and API testing; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Manage test data, track QA metrics, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Architects throughout the development lifecycle.
Validate builds, test deep links, perform pre-release checks, and monitor production performance.

Requirements

Strong mobile QA experience, automation framework background, and solid understanding of QA methodologies.
Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and Android (real devices and emulators); knowledge of mobile lifecycles and release processes (App Store, Google Play).
Proficiency with debugging tools (Proxyman, Charles, Fiddler, ADB logcat, Xcode Console), API testing (Postman, REST/GraphQL), and bug/test management tools (Jira, Allure, Git).
