What you’ll do: - Own, operate, and continuously improve the FedRAMP cloud environment, ensuring security, availability, compliance, and operational excellence. - Design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for the cloud platform and applications. - Build and enhance security controls across cloud resources (networking, compute, storage, logging, monitoring, IAM). - Lead AWS hardening and Kubernetes security, applying secure-by-default patterns. - Automate security controls and processes to reduce manual effort and errors. - Partner with SRE, platform, and engineering teams to deploy and operate services securely in regulated environments. - Develop and maintain incident response capabilities including detection, containment, investigation, recovery, and post-incident analysis. - Respond to security incidents, conduct deep investigations, and drive remediation and long-term actions. - Identify and mitigate risks through threat-informed assessments, vulnerability management, and ongoing cloud security reviews (CNAPP). - Manage and improve security tooling (SIEM, EDR, cloud-native tooling) and security metrics. - Contribute to the cloud security strategy, balancing business needs and regulatory obligations. - Collaborate with engineering teams on secure architecture decisions and solving complex security problems. - Contribut
