Provectus is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer (GenAI, AWS) to embed with client teams and own end-to-end AI solutions in the Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences verticals. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will write production code, deploy GenAI/LLM systems to production on AWS, and spend weeks doing the operator’s job to understand the real-work constraints before you build. You will work alongside Forward Deployed Executives and client teams to rebuild business functions from first principles, using pre-built industry blueprints as baseline. You will design and implement cloud-native architectures (containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, CI/CD), evaluate non-deterministic models, and communicate with senior stakeholders (BU heads and CTOs) about redesigns and scope. Requirements include 8+ years of software experience, fluent English, Python and/or TypeScript, production experience with Claude Code/Cowork, and prior experience shipping GenAI/LLM systems to production. Remote OK; locations include Los Angeles, CA; Washington, DC; New York, NY; United States.
