We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Forecasting (f/m/x) to join our Data Science team in Hamburg on a hybrid basis. Your mission is to build and refine forecasting models that directly shape our trading strategies and maximize the value of renewable energy in the market. You will take end-to-end responsibility for forecasting topics and data workflows, ensure data quality, and turn complex time-series data into actionable signals for real-time trading. You will work closely with the Trading team and other stakeholders to ensure your models and insights have a tangible impact on our business and the energy system. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in time-series forecasting and machine learning, ideally with pricing and market forecasting in production environments (energy, trading, fintech); a background in the energy market is essential. Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with cloud-based ETL pipelines (preferably AWS). Proven track record in developing forecasting models for non-stationary time series. You are proactive, pragmatic, and capable of clear communication in a collaborative team.
