Perform and drive month-end close for assets, inventory, and supply chain accounting, including ledger close, Balance Sheet and P&L reporting, flux analysis, and preparation/review of journal entries and reconciliations.
Partner with the business to design and implement new operational processes and accounting flows; identify gaps and drive consistency across stakeholders.
Act as subject matter expert in Inventory and Supply Chain Accounting to support system implementations, enhancements, and bug resolutions; pursue efficiencies through automation and outsourcing.
Identify risks, develop risk mitigation plans, and escalate issues when appropriate.
Prepare and present complex financial information to finance leaders, cross-functional partners, and internal/external auditors.
Requirements
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
CPA designation.
4+ years' experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and 3+ years' experience in industry.
Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially inventory (ASC 330) and fixed assets (ASC 360).
Experience leading large, cross-functional projects spanning offices, teams, and geographies.
Excellent leadership, project management, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Superior analytical skills and business judgment; ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
