As an early technical hire on an expanding finance and accounting team, you will contribute across foreign currency accounting, inventory and cost accounting, fixed assets, and overall accounting operations as the company scales.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation under U.S. GAAP.
Assist accounts payable activities, including invoice reviews, coding, and three-way matching.
Maintain the inventory rollforward to the general ledger and ensure MES-to-GL accuracy for purchases, consumption, scrap, and ending balances.
Analyze inventory variances and recommend corrective actions or reserve adjustments as needed.
Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including asset setup, useful lives, depreciation, disposals, and CIP capitalization.
Prepare fixed asset and construction-in-progress roll-forwards and reconcile to the general ledger.
Support foreign currency accounting under ASC 830, including functional currency assessments, translation and remeasurement, and FX gain/loss analysis.
Support multi-entity consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and consolidating entries.
Assist with external audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related requests.
Support the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
