Autohellas, a leading force in the Greek automotive industry for over 50 years, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance team in Greece. The successful candidate will manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, and will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP. Responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month-end and year-end closings, preparing tax declarations, analyzing financial data, and assisting with external and internal audits. The role also involves implementing and improving accounting policies and internal controls, and providing guidance to junior accounting staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.

What we are looking for: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree is an advantage. A Valid Class A Accountant License (A' Class) is mandatory. Minimum five years of professional accounting experience, with proven experience in preparing complete financial statements. Strong knowledge of IFRS, local tax legislation, and accounting best practices. Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software, advanced Microsoft Excel, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
