FREEDOM FINANCE TECHNOLOGIES, a Cyprus-based fintech company and part of the Freedom Finance holding, develops trading and banking IT products and maintains the holding’s IT infrastructure worldwide. Our team consists of about 170 professionals and serves more than 700,000 users across 41 countries. We are expanding our IT Infrastructure team and are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join the Billing team in Limassol, Cyprus, with relocation support and a hybrid work arrangement.
Implement new modules in web applications and integrate with external services. Deploy code to production and estimate development tasks. Contribute to design and improvement of product infrastructure to enhance stability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions meeting business requirements. Design architectural solutions, technologies, databases, and infrastructure for stable, high-performing systems.
6+ years of backend or full-stack development experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on PHP. Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework, or Yii). Strong OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns; CI/CD experience; familiarity with WebSockets is a plus. Strong SQL and relational database skills; proficient Git usage; Linux CLI proficiency to set up/configure a web stack. Willingness to write and maintain automated tests. Fintech background preferred; Russian native or C1; English B1+. Experience with monolith architectures and service-oriented migrations; ability to understand product/domain conte
