The engineer will develop, integrate, test and maintain the software ecosystem that enables robotic platforms to be designed, simulated, built, controlled, validated and operated. You will work across platform software, system integration, simulation, high-level control, testing workflows, and developer tooling, contributing to internal R&D platforms and to software used by internal teams, partners and customers. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining software for robotic platforms, hardware abstraction, system integration, simulation tools, control software and validation workflows; integrating subsystems across actuators, embedded devices, sensors, communications, simulation, and higher-level applications; and contributing to ROS 2 packages, CI/CD pipelines, documentation and developer-facing tools. You will collaborate with perception, localization, mapping, navigation and autonomy teams to bring research outputs into production-grade robotics software. The role requires solid software engineering practices, modular design, automated testing, code reviews, and reproducible development environments. Core requirements include a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics or related fields; hands-on experience developing software for robotic systems and cyber-physical platforms; strong C++ and Python programming; experience with ROS/ROS 2; Linux development, Git workflows, and automated testing/CI/CD.
