Homewatch CareGivers is seeking a Recruiter and Scheduling Coordinator to lead our caregiver recruitment efforts in Garland, Texas, United States. The role involves identifying, screening, interviewing, and hiring caregivers, CNAs, and Home Health Aides; developing local recruiting plans; sourcing candidates through online tools, social media, professional networks, newspapers, job boards, and college relationships; and managing caregiver and client weekly schedules to ensure shifts are covered. The position reports to the Administrator and/or Director of Operations. Key responsibilities include building a candidate pool, tracking applications and hires, conducting prescreenings, background and reference checks, onboarding, managing job postings and advertising budgets, and maintaining up-to-date schedules. The ideal candidate has one to two years of HR/recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to travel for recruitment events, and a flexible schedule. Qualifications include the ability to work approximately 40 hours per week and the physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting (20–30 pounds), and occasional lifting and reaching as needed.
