BeReal is seeking a QA Engineer to join its quality team in Paris, France. This is a hybrid role based in Paris with remote days on Fridays. You will work closely with the Lead QA Engineer, product managers, and engineers to ensure every release meets the quality bar our users expect. Responsibilities include executing test campaigns before each release (release candidate and hotfix), smoke and regression testing on real devices and simulators (iOS and Android) across multiple OS versions and configurations. You will validate fixes before merge and before store submission, contributing to go/no-go release decisions with a documented quality stance. You will own end-to-end bug investigation: reproduce, isolate, and document issues with clear steps, expected vs actual behavior, environment, logs, and versions. You will contribute to quality practice improvements and participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demos): challenge acceptance criteria and anticipate edge cases. You will surface quality trends and flag fragile areas. Qualifications include experience with test automation: writing test scripts, CI integration, iOS/Android tooling; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar). Profile: 2+ years of experience in mobile automation, ideally on a high-volume consumer app. Hands-on experience with iOS and/or Android: manual testing on real devices and emulators/simulators.
