ARCO is seeking a Project Manager Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 in Riverside, Missouri. This is a full-time Co-op lasting 6–8 months. The student may need to take the semester off or coordinate with career services to meet co-op requirements. As a Co-op, you will assist Project Managers with the following responsibilities: Estimating – describing project proposals and assigning dollar values; Scheduling – creating a working timeline for subcontractors/trades to complete the project on time; Design meetings – attending design meetings with the owner and team to understand proposals from structural engineers and architects; Buyout – sending bid instructions, schedules, and drawings to subcontractors, receiving and evaluating proposals, and awarding subcontracts; Permitting – filling out permit forms, submitting forms with drawings and fees, and awaiting approvals; Shop Drawing and Submittal Review – receiving shop drawings or submittals, reviewing with the PM, and coordinating ordering of materials; Billing – handling subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications; Job Site Visits – visiting the job site with the PM to ensure the project runs smoothly. Qualifications include enrollment in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and prior internship or co-op construction experience preferred, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.
