HDR Building Engineering Services Group is seeking a Project Manager for its Mobile, Alabama office to lead client development and delivery of data center projects. This role focuses on managing and delivering projects and requires the ability to develop and secure work from a robust global client base and expand HDR’s reputation in these markets. The successful candidate will work closely with regional Building Engineering Services business group managers and HDR’s global TMT client management team. Primary Responsibilities: • Manage and lead multi-disciplinary design teams from project conception to completion to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. • Collaborate on development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality and production methods to achieve established goals. • Travel to project sites approximately 10–20%, including international travel if needed. • Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate international project support. • Control project budget, scope and schedule. • Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards. • Forecasting, invoicing and contract management. • Promote HDR through regular client interface. • Create vital proposal content including scope, schedule and budget. • Lead HDR interview presentations with clients. • Work cooperatively with local office leads, other business group leads, technical directors and marketing managers. • Other technical and managerial tasks as assigned.
