Mountain West Consulting is a growing project management, construction management, and consulting firm specializing in large-scale energy infrastructure projects across the Western and Southern United States. We partner with developers, owners, and contractors to deliver industrial and solar projects on time and on budget. Mountain West Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical, infrastructure, and energy projects in the Phoenix metro area. This on-site role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations.
Responsibilities include representing owners on capital, utility, energy, and infrastructure projects; managing project planning, execution, controls, and closeout to meet safety, budget, schedule, quality, and contract requirements; reviewing plans, contracts, submittals, pay applications, reports, and construction documents for accuracy, compliance, and constructability; coordinating access, shutdowns, permits, schedules, subcontractors, meetings, site visits, and stakeholder communication; tracking schedules, estimates, changes, payments, risks, scope, quality, performance trends, RFIs, documentation, and correspondence; interpreting and enforcing regulations, codes, standards, contracts, policies, and contractor safety requirements; leading mechanical scopes, including piping, rotating equipment, valves, HVAC, pressure vessels, installation, punch list, and turnover; coordinating with engineers and contractors to ensure ASME, API, OSH
