Project Manager

Imperial Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to administer single or multiple construction projects in the Phoenix area, including multi-family housing or related projects with large contract values.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Provide proactive overall administration of projects
Review prime and subcontract provisions
Maximize budget buyout
Participate in weekly OAC meetings and other required meetings
Maintain clear communication with customers regarding schedules, change orders, and the quality of work
Monitor budgets and schedules
Lead the project team and define duties with the project Superintendent
Establish project commitments and approve invoices
Prepare information to complete monthly draws per contract schedule
Ensure activities comply with Imperial Contracting policies and values
Document understandings from meetings with customers, subcontractors, and the project team
Complete project documentation in Sage 300 and JobPlanner
Ensure safety policies are followed
Promote the company to customers and encourage future opportunities
Complete other project-related tasks
Five or more years of project management experience in multi-family housing or related projects (e.g., hotel renovation)
Experience with contracts valued at $12,000,000 or greater
Degree in construction management or construction science; related engineering/architectural degrees with business training may qualify
Knowledge of construction trades, procedures, codes, scheduling, cost control, risk assessment, safety protoco
