MBP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as Owner's Representative in a higher education, healthcare, laboratory, and campus infrastructure setting. The role focuses on guiding the design, construction, and turnover of a mix of academic, medical, laboratory, research, and campus projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring goals for scope, budget, and quality are achieved. The successful candidate will oversee planning, scheduling, and project controls, and manage the project team, coordinating designers, contractors, and owner personnel. Responsibilities include serving as the primary client contact, attending owner meetings, preparing and monitoring budgets and schedules, evaluating proposals and change orders, negotiating with designers, contractors, and consultants, reviewing invoices, coordinating with regulatory and utility authorities, securing necessary permits, and maintaining project documentation through the project management information system. The role encompasses planning, pre-construction, and post-construction activities, directing staff and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Additional duties include business development, personnel management, and maintaining certifications. Qualifications emphasize expertise with MBP's diverse services, ability to manage multiple assignments, and knowledge of construction management, scheduling, cost estimating, and contract administration, with experience in medical, laboratory, and research facilities.
