Planet is seeking a Civil Government Program Manager to join the Global Professional Services team. You will lead complex projects to scale government adoption of the Planet Platform and its data products, working with cross-functional teams to define project methodology and strategy across a portfolio of initiatives. This role focuses on civil government applications of remote sensing data and requires a process-driven mindset to improve development cycles. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as part of a global team, adaptable and collaborative. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Berlin, with three days per week in the Berlin office.

What you’ll do: - Collaborate with Professional Services Engineers, Pre-Sales, Product Management, and other teams to design and deliver reliable platform and data solutions - Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics - Translate business and technical requirements into actionable deliverables - Scope and manage detailed project schedules; drive execution; proactively identify and mitigate risks; track costs and budget - Deliver consistent project updates to customers and internal stakeholders - Design and implement processes for operational excellence and scalability - Improve workflows by monitoring business processes and identifying inefficiencies - Manage contracts with subcontractors, including task assignment, deliverable tracking, and budgets - Measure project performance and customer satisfaction to improve future delivery
