Program Manager will supervise and direct a team of service delivery staff, volunteers, and interns to help individuals establish educational goals, access occupational skill training, and secure employment opportunities that lead to family-sustaining wages. The role coordinates services offered to enrolled participants and manages relationships with service providers to improve soft skills, hard skills, employability, and quality of life for participants. The Program Manager ensures direct service staff conduct needs assessments, create Individual Employment Plans (IEP), and enter and maintain data in CalJOBS, Salesforce, and other internal or external databases. Collaborating with the Learning & Evaluation and Intake teams, the position delivers a client-centered workforce development approach, implements programming that leads to credential attainment, work readiness, and post-secondary or employment placement, and sustains the Integrated Service Delivery Model (ISDM). The role works with other department managers, youth advocates, and career coaches to develop IEPs and ISSs, maintain participant information, and develop systems that generate the highest level of customer service for enrolled participants along with managing client engagement.
