Program Manager (ACP Technical) will collaborate with the Deputy Director of Advanced Capital Planning and the Sponsor Engagement Program Manager to support sponsor agencies in planning capital needs and achieving Citywide goals for public buildings. Responsibilities include assessing building conditions, accessibility, coastal and stormwater resiliency, and energy use reduction and decarbonization; leading a team of experienced technical staff performing facility assessments; analyzing sponsor programmatic needs, operation and maintenance requirements, and energy use to develop comprehensive capital plans and financing requests; defining the scope for design and construction of diverse building types (including older 19th and 20th century structures) and coordinating with a cost-estimating team to produce itemized facility assessment reports and cost estimates. Work location is 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; the agency does not sponsor visas. Credentials must be from a U.S. Department of Education-recognized institution; foreign credentials require independent equivalency verification.
