This role combines hands-on process engineering with leadership of a small team of Process/Production Engineers and reports to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process reliability, efficiency, safety, and product quality; providing technical process engineering support for production units and site utilities; tracking Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and conducting root cause analyses to reduce downtime, scrap, and recurring issues; developing corrective and preventive actions based on data-driven analysis; supporting the introduction of new products through MOCs, PHAs, PSSRs, SOP development, operator training, and startup activities; identifying and implementing projects to optimize manufacturing processes and safety; serving as the technical owner for site utilities (including thermal oxidizer and refrigeration systems); collaborating with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Project Engineering, and external vendors to improve process performance and customer satisfaction; supporting automation initiatives such as SIS, alarm management, and batch control; participating in engineering studies, incident investigations, regulatory reporting, and process hazard analyses; developing capital project justifications and ROI analyses; mentoring and developing Process Engineers; promoting Environmental, Health, and Safety excellence and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
