Development Management Platform Development Systems Engineer role. This position is responsible for projects, system enhancements and portfolio support of Honda's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, including tools and integrations with CAD, CAE, CAM, and CAT. The engineer will provide direction and technical leadership, lead projects, and coordinate with North American business teams, Japan IT teams, and global outsourcing vendors. The role also supports integrations with other New Model Development Systems IT teams. Key accountabilities include supervisory responsibility for tools and processes within the Development Management Platform team, defining metrics to monitor support quality and performance, coaching junior engineers, and developing 1–3 year roadmaps and budgets for the Development Management Platform portfolio. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (STEM) or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and academics; at least five years of relevant experience; expertise in PLM applications (e.g., 3DExperience, ARAS Innovator, or similar); knowledge of mechanical engineering principles; and familiarity with CAD/CAE/CAM/CAT and IT disciplines such as operating systems, databases, programming, DevSecOps, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Work style is onsite with one remote workday per week possible with prior departmental approval, based in Raymond, Ohio, United States.
